Easy Alfredo Sauce

1/2 cup butter
1 (8-oz) pkg cream cheese
2 tsp garlic powder
2 cup milk
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic powder, stirring with a whisk until smooth. Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps. Stir in Parmesan cheese; add salt and pepper, if desired. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency.

Makes enough for 16-oz box of pasta.
Can stir in cubed garlic chicken for Chicken Alfredo.
